Leopard’s Leap is located in the Franschoek Valley, an area settled by the French Hugenots in the late 1600s and of exceptional beauty, cultural significance and home to fantastic wine-growing soils and weather.

Technique, terroir, grape quality and technology
A local to the area, Renier studied Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Stellenbosch. His passion for wine-making and viticulture has taken him to Australia, New Zealand and California, whereafter he joined the Leopard’s Leap team in 2014, show-casing his skill and experience in the wines he has produced since.
